He earned his MSc magna cum laude in Materials Science and Technology at Università degli Studi di Bari Aldo Moro (UniBA) in 2013, and his Ph.D. in Chemical and Molecular Sciences at the same institution in 2017, discussing a thesis on the theoretical and experimental design of nanomaterials for the photo- and electro-chemical conversion of energy.
In 2013 he joined the research group of computational materials science at Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II leaded by Prof. Michele Pavone, winning two post-graduate scholarships, and starting a collaboration that is still underway today.
In 2016, he has been Visiting Ph.D. Student in the Laboratory of NanoChemistry for Energy (LNCE) at Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, in Sion, Switzerland.
Since 2017, he is also Adjunct Professor of General and Inorganic Chemistry for the BSc in Environment and Workplace Prevention Techniques (UniBA, School of Medicine).
Since 2019 he is Coordinator of the Young Group of Società Chimica Italiana, representing the Division of Physical Chemistry, after being a Board Member and Treasurer in the previous three years.
His aim for this 3-year activity is to keep sustaining and encouraging with lots of initiatives the professional growth of young people working in chemistry-related fields.
